Rocky Mountain Raceway







These were shot at 1/50th of a second. I took a whole bunch of photos in order to get a few that were in focus. Panning the camera exactly with the movement of the dragsters was hard because they were moving so fast. These things are so loud you can feel it rumbling in your chest.

  1. It's amazing how crisp you got the focus on these! How did you do the first one with the motorcycle? Really, you need to be an infant photographer. If you can get these in focus, you can get Eva in focus (something we're having a hard time doing.)

  2. As you can see in the shot with the dragsters, the yellow on is not if focus because he is going a different speed than the red one. Of the multiple shots I took, only a few came out. Panning to the exact speed they were going was tricky. I set the camera to burst mode and just kept shooting as they moved past.
