This piano was built in late 1910. The date on the badge is for a contest that Hamilton entered and came in second place. I hadn't seen the inside of this piano since I was a kid, and I didn't realize how neat it looked inside. My dad rebuilt it when I was young. I think it has been passed around to most of my siblings until it ended up at my house and it is now sitting in my living room.
Pianos aren't made like this anymore. The inside wood is beautiful, and goes unseen unless you leave the front of the piano off.
It sounds great now that it has been tuned.
