I went to middle school in Copperton. They tore the school down a few years ago because it was falling apart. I think it was built in the 1920's. It was falling apart when I was going there more than twenty years ago. We used to go past this cemetery twice a day on our way to and from school riding the bus. Copperton was one of the communities that sprung up because of the copper mine.
